after 2 "relaxed" weeks on 2 different parades - 163SQN COC & ADOC COC - the time to relax has come. duty, off, duty, off. =) which will keep me out of camp for abt 1 month plus if everything goes to plan. tho i still pray for offs being given for the 163 coc, im happy tt cmdr adoc gave us 2 days off for all our efforts. quite a gd deal =)

it seems tt i have quite a diverse network of friends frm the past to the present. met nichola at chong pang camp while on coc parade there. shes the reserve emcee i think for the parade haha. currently attached to cab i think. xia la sch hols oso have to come back for attachments. tts wad u get for signing on a scholarship i guess. i think potential colonel (at least) in the future, if she stays on all the way. =)

august is coming! a month of relaxation hopefully after such a hectic month. got off but cannot clear thx to parade rehearsals. so its payback next month =) 1 week can have the whole week off LOL =) yes OFF not LEAVE. =) =)

my 300th post goes down memory lane.

had a primary6 cls dinner at ms clarity cafe or something like tt near THE National Library. how ppl came to noe of the place who noes, but it seems like smu ppl noe the place very well. met up with chee yen, ni qing, yan yuan, ritzley, malcolm, peizhi, yi sin, eleanor, guo shiong, elaine and our beloved ms phua for dinner at the above cafe. seeing all these familiar faces after so long, it created a rather nostalgic feeling. most of them have nt changed, except maybe in terms of height. ms phua didnt change at all, coming in her trademark black tank top and white cargoes. it would be black pants if she was at school. nostalgia was in the air as malcolm with his superb memory for the past reminiscing abt all kinds of stuff in primary sch, from the fine details to the wacky details, some of which i wonder why he even bothers to rmb them. like how pencil cases had to be frm power rangers, how stupid the medieval rule of "no double stepping on staircases" was, where everyone sat in class, having silent reading cum eye exercise sessions in the sch hall in the morning, etc etc.

all those who all had varied bright futures ahead of them with all kinds of course taken up. chee yen is going for ntu aerospace engineering, ni qing for nus chem engineering, yan yuan currently studying medicine, ritzley for nus psychology, peizhi for ntu biochem and tcm, eleanor for ntu accountancy (my future senior omg haha), ms phua studying at nie and malcolm has commando bmt to look forward to. LOL =P siao liao la for him. so i gave my heartfelt advice to him.

yea well, i found it surprising tt there was so much to talk abt, when ive nv met some of them for yrs in fact. it was like talking to close friends, even when i was nv really a fren to them for many yrs (there was a cls dinner last yr tt i nv even knew abt LOL).

on hindsight, we didnt take a photo, sadly.
