an eventful wk so far, with more still to come. =)

went jeanette's hse for rockband 2 on monday with the rest of the NBS B group ppl frm hall (for future reference: weihanedmundsienjeanettehazelandmeofcourse). b4 tt had carl's jr at tampines 1. nv been there since it opened though... looks pretty interesting but i guess no time for exploration that day. rockband was pretty ok i guess. jeanette was like going wild to the tunes. LOL still prefer the guitar over the drum, but not used to shifting fingers up and down the "fret board" for hard difficulty. and most of the songs were pretty ancient or old. which is why i prefer bandhero's song selection of modern pop songs =) had dinner at changi airport (hazel's idea of maximum utility of the journey to the east). popeye's at T1 yup. yummy =D

upgraded my laptop to win7 yesterday nite. pretty grueling stuff actually. had to backup my system. reformat and install win7. then reinstall all the win7 drivers. then backup the system again. took me almost 10 hrs to complete the whole process O.O crappy computer for you. then after that was reinstalling all my software. still in the process of doing that actually. only reinstalled office 2007 professional plus and installed microsoft security essentials (free antivirus frm microsoft, nt sure how gd it is tho). so far nt much change in my opinion frm vista for win7 (even my startup and shutdown times are pretty similar) but so far the performance seems to be slightly better than vista, with IE nt lagging that badly as it did in the past. some visual changes for the task bar as well... big icons with no real text, trying to copy Mac OS's bar at the bottom i guess.

had mj session today as well in my rm hahahaha. did ok i guess... fed quite a bit various ppl... but in the end the impt part is a net profit! =) won $8, mong won like $26 i think.. with edmund and jun bin losing quite a sum lol nt sure how much the breakdown is.

tutorial grp chalet tmr! nt sure how it'll turn out.. but i hope it'll still be ok. going sentosa on monday for the sun, sand and vball/frisbee/etc etc. =) hope everything goes well. =)
