met lx and mong for dinner today at vivo. had dinner at hongkongkimgary restaurant. yumyum. =) long time nv see lx le... cos he antisocial mah... a lot of cls outing oso nv come... turns out hes been on deans list for a few sems le.. wah lao some of my ex clsmates damn zai.. dunno whether i can be the same lol.

been rewatching star wars stuff recently. haha. rewatched all 6 movies and now starting to rewatch "star wars the clone wars" animated series which is still showing on cartoon network in the us. dead bored haha. =) rewatching the 1977-1983 movies was kind of a "LOL" session due to the cheapo special effects of the past. imagine the death star shooting a beam at the planet of naboo or something, and the whole planet jus exploding into smithereens... wth damn funny la... ok maybe u cant visualise so its nt tt funny to u.. but when i first watched it it was indeed a LOL session. the animated series is much better i feel. love animation films/series to bits haha. there are some things live action cannot achieve.

oh well, back to more star wars action. =)

i wonder if i use "updates" too often for my blogpost title. lol but sometimes, i cant be bothered with thinking of a more witty blogpost title, so... updates will do. =)

hmmm nothing much to update abt actually. lol. met sam on the mrt actually on the way home today lol. she was getting on at city hall with her fren while i was going to get off at raffles place yea, so met for 1 mrt stop? lol =) strangely she was abit surprised tt im working alr (i was in office wear) and tt i've ORDed. errrr sam didnt ziyang ORD alr? lol

other than tt i dunno wad to say. work is routine and rather relaxing at times lol. spent the weekend slping/studyingmsoffice/playing soccer. the foot tt gave me so much trouble during ns flared up again frm the forgetable ache to a fullblownpaininthefoot. seriously limped around the whole wkend after street soccer on sat. still nt sure whether i shld go to a specialist for this...

soccer was great tho. altho i didnt noe anyone but jona(as usual), at least i managed to score some goals. at least my scoring touch is still around, tho it needed quite a bit of warming up at 1st.

1st month of work at IE coming to a close. 1 more month then it'll be back to job searching again. =)

was minding my own business throughout the entire train ride home after cls today, be it listening to music or jus staring into space. but i couldnt help but notice a few ppl keep pting in my direction. only when i turned my head to look around did i realise wad they were pting at.

the lady beside me was wearing a shirt with the same pattern as mine, with the same colour scheme - striped top with black bottom. it would be little wonder if she got the top at least frm G2000.

jus took my exam for ppt earlier in the morning.. at employment & employability institute (E2I for short, a weird and crappy name i think lol) redhill there.. and I PASSED! haha tho i dun feel like its some great achievement but ya, i passed. the qns were pretty simple i must say, tho i got some things tt they asked which i had to improvise to get the desired result. tho im nt sure whether they wanted me to do it tt way or nt. which goes to show why my results for "Creating and Formatting Slide Content" was only 69% when the others were 100%... haha oh well, ITS OVER. and they dun give u like honours or cum laude for scoring insanely high so yup. =)

1st one in the bag. 2 more to go. maybe 3 if i decide to try learning access, when i totally noe nuts abt tt software. haha.

HELL THATS WAD IM DOING THIS WK. and tts gonna continue next wk. this is like working at bloomdale during cny period, but times infinity the mental toll... work is nt say very difficult.. jus tedious, but i think ive learnt some excel tips so its nt too bad... its the cls tt is slowly draining away my mental strength.. lol. i noe my excel skills are shitty so i cant complain there... but for word to have so many facets tt i didnt noe abt??? wads more according to the teacher some of the features tt i dun noe are actually available since some versions ago... OMG I FEEL LIKE A FROG IN A WELL.

it jus goes to show tt ive got lots to learn... and i have to learn it all within the 2 wks i finish my course... hopefully i pass the exams... including the ppt one this sat..

gonna miss justin's/lynn's/aiping's sending off tmr, thx to cls and exam on sat... jus wanna say its be nice knowing u all. go back to aust and do well k? if any of u even read my blog hahaha....

im done complaining abt w*&^%. time to take action soon.

nothing much to report i guess. jus data entry into excel, with some simple but brain wrecking stuff to figure out at the start. but the files are pretty interesting reads tho lol. =)

the office is damn nice la. a vastly stark contrast to boomdale. altho im still a vagabond, but at least u can use a conference rm (altho tt didnt happen today due to some interviews or sth) to do work which is still decent. no more pig sty for me lol =) the 10th floor office is damn nice la, tho it looks more like a lounge to me. ceo's office n board rm is there too if im nt wrong. will the 7th floor offices are still nt bad, and there is like a "fun" area there too. lol. a minigym, 2-3 table tennis tables, 2 foosball tables and 2 pool tables. the best part? all FREE TO USE. lol =) challenged jg to a game of pool at the end of the day. due to the VERY level surface of the table the ball behaved quite weirdly in same cases (imagine the ball after getting hit going in a slight curve before rolling into a hole -.-""""") but still ok la. haha.

i hope everyday remains like today's workload lol. but i guess this wont last in the end. esp when i become more "senior" and proficient in excel (hopefully).
